  • Description
As can be read on the Ravensburger homepage, the history of Punta is connected to Memory: In 1957, Carlit, the publisher of Punta, refused an offer from Heinrich and Josephine Hurter to issue their 'Memory-Game' by referring to a 'similar' game already in their program, Punta!Today's Punta rules contain 3 possible ways to play Punta, but I don't know, if the first editions had only the version, which is indeed similar to Memory.Common to all 3 sub-games is, that all 60 cards are evenly dealt to the players, which lay them on the table. The player who can turn all his cards first, is the winner. As in Memory, players can choose 2 cards to look at, but they can only choose their own cards and the revealed cards must match with the throw of the 2-4 dice (1-2 normal dice and 1-2 colour dice depending on the selected sub-game). - BoardGameGeek
